California High School Soccer - San Juan Hills nudges Newport Harbor
December 18, 2021: Newport Beach, CA 92663 San Juan Hills Stallions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Stallions face the Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 30. San Juan Hills will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Diablos enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA).
The Sailors now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Foothill for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 21. Newport Harbor will face a Knights team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Cypress (Cypress, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-5.
