December 18, 2021: Carlsbad, CA 92009 Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Ravens confront the Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 22. Canyon Crest Academy will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Valhalla (El Cajon, CA).
The Mavericks now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Dieguito Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, December 20. La Costa Canyon will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-2 non-league Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-0.
