New Jersey High School Basketball - Lower Cape May nips St. Joseph
December 18, 2022: Cape May, NJ 08204 Lower Cape May Tigers (Cape May, NJ) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ), 53-52 in a league bout.
With the victory, Lower Cape May upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Wildwood Catholic lost 61-55 in their recent non-league bout against Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - National bout, on Tuesday, December 20. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 55-28 league loss to Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ).
