New Jersey High School Basketball - Immaculate Conception tops Neumann-Goretti
December 18, 2022: Montclair, NJ 07042 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Immaculate Conception Lions (Montclair, NJ) and the visiting Neumann-Goretti Saints (Philadelphia, PA), saw Immaculate Conception's basketball squad knock off Neumann-Goretti by a tally of 57-48.
With the victory, Immaculate Conception improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ) to play the Blue Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Blue Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
Next up, the Saints play the Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Neumann-Goretti will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 73-62 non-league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD).
