New Jersey High School Basketball - Mount St. Mary Academy ripped by St. John-Vianney
December 18, 2022: Holmdel, NJ 07733 The St. John-Vianney Lancers basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Mount St. Mary Academy Lions to 21 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Lancers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Matawan Regional for a Shore A - Central contest on Tuesday, December 20. St. John-Vianney will battle a Huskies team coming off a 36-22 non-league loss to Linden (Linden, NJ). The Huskies record now stands at 0-3.
The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Somerville (Somerville, NJ). The Pioneers enter the Skyland - Valley contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Somerville triumphed over West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ), 44-22, in a non-league contest.
