Arizona High School Basketball - Shadow Ridge overwhelms Alhambra
December 18, 2023: Phoenix, AZ 85019 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) and the host Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ), saw Shadow Ridge's basketball squad wallop Alhambra by a count of 74-39.
With the victory, Shadow Ridge upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Stallions host O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 11-1. O'Connor won 70-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV)
Next up, the Lions play the North Mustangs (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A Metro challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Alhambra will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 60-57 non-league loss to West Point (Avondale, AZ).
