Michigan High School Basketball - Armada overwhelmed by Corunna
December 18, 2023: Corunna, MI 48817 The Corunna Cavaliers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Armada Tigers to 23 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Monday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Powers Catholic for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Corunna will battle a Chargers team coming off a 69-22 non-league win over North Branch (North Branch, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 6-0.
The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Deckerville (Deckerville, MI). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Deckerville triumphed over All Saints Central (Bay City, MI), 56-49, in a league contest.
