Kentucky High School Basketball - Whitley County crushes Casey County
December 18, 2023: Liberty, KY 42539 Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY), 88-66 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Whitley County upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Colonels travel to Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY) to clash with the Bluejackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Bluejackets go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Nicholas County lost 60-46 in their recent non-league bout against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY)
Next up, the Rebels clash with the McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Casey County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 55-54 league loss to Southwestern (Somerset, KY).
