Iowa High School Basketball - Creston can't hold off Grinnell
December 18, 2023: Grinnell, IA 50112 The Grinnell Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Creston Panthers to 49 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamsburg for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Grinnell will battle a Raiders team coming off a 77-69 non-league win over Washington (Washington, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-0.
The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Clarinda (Clarinda, IA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Clarinda was nudged by Harlan (Harlan, IA), 54-47, in a non-league contest.
