The Desert Oasis Diamondbacks basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Lincoln Hornets to 51 in the Diamondbacks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Diamondbacks now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palo Verde for a 4A Lake contest on Tuesday, January 2. Desert Oasis will battle a Panthers team coming off a 77-57 league loss to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.

The Hornets (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Skyhawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Salem Hills was nudged by Dominguez (Compton, CA), 60-58, in a non-league contest.
