Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Excel Academy of South Shore Broncos (Chicago, IL) and the host DuSable Panthers (Chicago, IL), saw Excel Academy of South Shore's basketball squad hold off DuSable by a tally of 55-53.

With the victory, Excel Academy of South Shore improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Goode STEM Academy (Chicago, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Goode STEM Academy won 43-30 in their recent league challenge against Ace Tech/Amandla (Chicago, IL)
