LaVergne Wolverines (LaVergne, TN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Franklin Admirals (Franklin, TN), 56-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, LaVergne upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Blackman (Murfreesboro, TN) to play the Blaze in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Blaze go into the bout with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Admirals play the Knowledge Academies (Antioch, TN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 56-52 non-league win over Glencliff (Nashville, TN).
