Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) and the visiting Harrisburg Hornets (Harrisburg, AR), saw Valley View's basketball squad wallop Harrisburg by a tally of 63-39.

With the victory, Valley View improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Blazers host Brookland (Brookland, AR) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Brookland won 58-48 in their recent league challenge against Westside (Jonesboro, AR)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR) in a 3A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Harrisburg will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Mohawks come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 70-38 league loss to Manila (Manila, AR).
