Arkansas High School Basketball - South Side winner over Hector
December 18, 2023: Bee Branch, AR 72013 The South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) basketball felled the visiting Hector Wildcats (Hector, AR), 64-48 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hornet (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Cougars go into the 2A Region 2 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Izard County was beaten by Thayer (Thayer, MO), 70-53, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Westside for a 2A Region 4 test on Tuesday, December 19. Hector will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 49-38 league win over Magazine (Magazine, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 8-6.
