December 18, 2023: La Crescent, MN 55947 La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Winona Winhawks (Winona, MN), 68-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, La Crescent upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lancers host Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Lewiston-Altura won 92-44 in their recent non-league bout against Rochester STEM Academy (Rochester, MN)
Next up, the Winhawks play the Owatonna Huskies (Owatonna, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Winona will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 78-61 non-league win over Austin (Austin, MN).
