Michigan High School Basketball - Summerfield crushes Manchester
December 18, 2023: Petersburg, MI 49270 Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Manchester Flying Dutchmen (Manchester, MI), 62-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Summerfield upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lutheran (Westland, MI) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Lutheran won 69-17 in their recent non-league bout against Chavez Academy (Detroit, MI)
Next up, the Flying Dutchmen play the Grass Lake Warriors (Grass Lake, MI) in a Cascades bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Manchester will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 46-24 league loss to Napoleon (Napoleon, MI).
