December 18, 2023: Plainfield, NJ 07063 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ) and the host Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ), saw St. Benedict's Prep's basketball squad wallop Plainfield by a tally of 80-58.
With the victory, St. Benedict's Prep improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Gray Bees travel to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC) to play the Quakers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Quakers come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Sidwell Friends won 60-39 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Plainfield will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 62-51 non-league loss to Linden (Linden, NJ).
