California High School Basketball - Summit nips Western Christian

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Summit SkyHawks (Fontana, CA) and the host Western Christian Fighting Lancers (Upland, CA), saw Summit's basketball squad hold off Western Christian by a count of 64-60.

With the victory, Summit upgrades its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The SkyHawks travel to Linfield Christian (Temecula, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 5-6.

Next up, the Fighting Lancers play the San Bernardino Cardinals (San Bernardino, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Western Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 66-65 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Riverside, CA).
