December 18, 2023: Cottondale, AL 35453 The Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL) basketball knocked off the host Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL), 56-46 in Monday's non-league test.
The Lions (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Cullman (Cullman, AL). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Cullman went down by Chelsea (Chelsea, AL), 48-30, in a non-league test.
The Stampede now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Guntersville for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 19. Paul W. Bryant will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 60-44 non-league win over Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-4.
