California High School Basketball - Stone Ridge Christian nips Buhach Colony
December 18, 2023: Merced, CA 95348 Stone Ridge Christian Knights (Merced, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA), 62-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Stone Ridge Christian upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Aspire Langston Hughes Academy (Stockton, CA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Aspire Langston Hughes Academy lost 49-36 in their recent non-league bout against Bear Creek (Stockton, CA)
Next up, the Thunder play the Gustine Reds (Gustine, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Buhach Colony will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Reds come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 53-47 non-league loss to Pacheco (Los Banos, CA).
