Louisiana High School Basketball - East Ascension trounces Capitol
December 18, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70802 The East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA) basketball crushed the host Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA), 53-29 in Monday's non-league test.
The Spartans (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Glen Oaks was trounced by Walker (Walker, LA), 78-28, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host St. Helena College and Career Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 20.
