Kentucky High School Basketball - Logan County holds off Christian County
December 18, 2023: Hopkinsville, KY 42240 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) and the host Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), saw Logan County's basketball squad hold off Christian County by a tally of 48-46.
With the victory, Logan County improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Caldwell County (Princeton, KY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Caldwell County lost 52-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Mayfield (Mayfield, KY)
Next up, the Colonels confront the Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Christian County will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 50-37 non-league loss to Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY).
