Wisconsin High School Basketball - Marathon tops Colby
December 18, 2023: Marathon, WI 54448 Marathon Red Raiders (Marathon, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Colby Hornets (Colby, WI), 58-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Marathon upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host Auburndale (Auburndale, WI) to play the Apaches in a Marawood - South bout on Thursday, December 21. The Apaches come into the bout with a record of 5-0.
Next up, the Hornets play the Greenwood Indians (Greenwood, WI) in a Cloverbelt - East bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Colby will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 36-33 league win over Gilman (Gilman, WI).
