Kentucky High School Basketball - Pendleton County tops Dayton
December 18, 2023: Dayton, KY 41074 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) and the host Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY), saw Pendleton County's basketball squad knock off Dayton by a tally of 61-52.
With the victory, Pendleton County improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Elliott County lost 46-28 in their recent league challenge against Morgan County (West Liberty, KY)
Next up, the Greendevils play the Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Dayton will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 57-49 non-league loss to Scott (Covington, KY).
