Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Eau Gallie Commodores (Melbourne, FL) and the host Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL), saw Eau Gallie's basketball squad wallop Merritt Island by a count of 54-28.

With the victory, Eau Gallie upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Commodores travel to Sebastian River (Sebastian, FL) to play the Sharks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Astronaut War Eagles (Titusville, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Merritt Island will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
