Kentucky High School Basketball - Woodford County knocked off by Mason County
December 18, 2023: Versailles, KY 40383 The Mason County Royals basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Woodford County Yellowjackets to 50 in the Royals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Royals now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lloyd Memorial for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Mason County will battle a Juggernauts team coming off a 84-42 non-league loss to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Juggernauts record now stands at 2-5.
The Yellowjackets (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Nelson County (Bardstown, KY). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Nelson County ran past Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY), 68-10, in a non-league contest.
