December 18, 2023: Mechanicville, NY 12118 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mechanicville Red Raiders (Mechanicville, NY) and the visiting Watervliet Cannoneers (Watervliet, NY), saw Mechanicville's basketball squad overcome Watervliet by a tally of 53-43.
With the victory, Mechanicville improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host Stillwater (Stillwater, NY) to confront the Warriors in a Section 2 Wasaren challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Stillwater won 51-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitehall (Whitehall, NY)
Next up, the Cannoneers confront the Germantown Clippers (Germantown, NY) in a Section 2 Patroon challenge, on Friday, December 22. Watervliet will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
