Ridge View Raptors (Holstein, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA), 54-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ridge View upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Raptors travel to Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Newell-Fonda won 80-45 in their recent league bout against Northwest Webster (Manson, IA)

With the defeat, Northwest Webster moves to 3-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA) to meet the Titans in a Twin Lakes match on Friday, January 5. The Titans enter the match with a record of 3-6.
