Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI), 39-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stoney Creek upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Cougars host Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Utica Eisenhower won 51-40 in their recent non-league bout against Athens (Troy, MI)
