The Gilroy Mustangs held off the host Monterey Dores soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Monday's non-league match.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Aptos for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 20. Gilroy will encounter a Mariners squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 3-3.
