Washington High School Basketball - DeSales crushes McLoughlin
December 18, 2023: Walla Walla, WA 99362 DeSales Irish (Walla Walla, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR), 49-26 in a non-league bout.
With the win, DeSales upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Irish travel to Liberty Christian (Richland, WA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-2.
Next up, the Pioneers clash with the Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights (College Place, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. McLoughlin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 44-30 non-league win over Highland (Cowiche, WA).
