December 18, 2023: Marshville, NC 28103 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) and the host Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), saw North Stanly's basketball squad knock off Forest Hills by a tally of 50-32.
With the victory, North Stanly improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Comets host Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Forest Hills will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
