Illinois High School Basketball - Simeon holds off Hillcrest
December 18, 2023: Country Club Hills, IL 60478 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Simeon Wolverines (Chicago, IL) and the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), saw Simeon's basketball squad hold off Hillcrest by a tally of 58-56.
With the victory, Simeon improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL) to confront the Raptors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Raptors come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Rich Township won 46-31 in their recent league challenge against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL)
Next up, the Hawks confront the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Hillcrest will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
