Florida High School Basketball - Legacy Charter overwhelmed by Lyman
December 18, 2023: Longwood, FL 37250 The Lyman Greyhounds basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Legacy Charter Eagles to 37 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Monday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Lyman will battle a Hawks team coming off a 51-41 non-league win over Freedom (Orlando, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 8-0.
The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cornerstone Charter Academy (Belle Isle, FL). The Ducks come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Cornerstone Charter Academy was routed by Cypress Creek (Orlando, FL), 41-40, in a non-league contest.
