Washington High School Basketball - Mount Tahoma fells Mercer Island
December 18, 2023: Mercer Island, WA 98040 Mount Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA), 77-68 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mount Tahoma upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The T-Birds travel to Federal Way (Federal Way, WA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Federal Way won 53-49 in their recent non-league bout against Tahoma (Maple Valley, WA)
Next up, the Islanders play the Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Mercer Island will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 74-26 non-league win over South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA).
