December 18, 2023: Colorado Springs, CO 80916 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Widefield Gladiators (Colorado Springs, CO) and the host Sierra Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Widefield's basketball squad wallop Sierra by a tally of 71-29.
With the victory, Widefield improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Palmer Ridge lost 42-38 in their recent non-league challenge against The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO)
Next up, the Stallions confront the Pueblo East Eagles (Pueblo, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Sierra will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 42-20 non-league win over Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO).
