In Wednesday's non-league test, the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls (Kenner, LA) basketball squad trounced the host Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA), by a final score of 57-33.

Next, the Swamp Owls clash with the Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Cowboys come into the test with a 0-7 record after their 70-62 non-league loss to Franklinton (Franklinton, LA).
