Washington High School Basketball - Naselle overwhelms Chief Leschi
December 18, 2024: Puyallup, WA 98371 The Naselle Comets basketball team scored 82 points and limited the host Chief Leschi Warriors to 30 in the Comets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Comets now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Willapa Valley for a 1B Coastal game on Friday, December 20. Naselle will play a Vikings team coming off a 66-53 non-league win over Raymond/South Bend (Raymond, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Chief Leschi falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Taholah (Taholah, WA) to play the Chitwhins in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Chitwhins go into the game with a record of 3-3. Taholah lost 57-51 in their recent non-league game against Ocosta (Westport, WA)
