California High School Basketball - Birmingham holds off Mt. Diablo

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Birmingham Patriots basketball team scored a close 65-60 triumph over the Mt. Diablo Red Devils.

The Patriots (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Coeur d'Alene (Coeur d'Alene, ID). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Coeur d'Alene was tipped by Deer Park (Deer Park, WA), 75-56, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Red Devils confront the Francis Parker Lancers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Mt. Diablo will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 65-61 non-league loss to Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA).
