California High School Basketball - Carson holds off Kennedy

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Carson Colts basketball team scored a close 48-45 triumph over the Kennedy Fighting Irish.

The Colts (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Stars go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Mary Star of the Sea was tipped by St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA), 66-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Fighting Irish confront the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Kennedy will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Gondoliers go into the contest with a 3-7 record after their 55-15 non-league win over Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA).
