In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Huntington North Vikings basketball team scored a close 53-48 triumph over the Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints.

The Vikings (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Leo (Leo, IN). The Lions go into the Northeast 8 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Leo nipped Fort Wayne North Side (Fort Wayne, IN), 52-31, in a non-league contest.
