Maine High School Basketball - Mount View nips Monmouth Academy
December 18, 2024: Thorndike, ME 04986 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Mount View Mustangs basketball team scored a close 29-26 win over the Monmouth Academy Mustangs.
The Mustangs (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Medomak Valley edged Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME), 46-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Monmouth Academy will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 49-28 non-league loss to Winthrop (Winthrop, ME).
