California High School Basketball - Westchester holds off Payson

The Westchester Comets basketball team scored 35 points and limited the visiting Payson Lions to 31 in the Comets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Comets now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Skyview for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Westchester will confront a Storm team coming off a 53-41 non-league win over Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Storm record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Payson falls to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ) to confront the Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 4-1. Buckeye won 71-18 in their recent non-league contest against Washington (Phoenix, AZ)
