December 18, 2024: Yuma, AZ 85364 Imperial Tigers (Imperial, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Cibola Raiders (Yuma, AZ), 44-31 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Imperial advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Southwest EC (El Centro, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-1. Southwest EC lost 65-4 in their recent non-league match against Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA)
The Raiders now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camelback for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Cibola will face a Spartans squad coming off a 27-25 non-league loss to Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 0-3.
