North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwestern Randolph holds off Jordan-Matthews
December 18, 2024: Asheboro, NC 27205 The Southwestern Randolph Cougars basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets to 31 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.
With the victory, Southwestern Randolph advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Randleman (Randleman, NC) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-2. Randleman lost 31-26 in their recent non-league match against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC)
The Jets now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seaforth for a non-league match on Friday, January 10.
