California High School Basketball - Churchill County holds off South Tahoe

December 18, 2024: South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

The Churchill County Greenwave basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host South Tahoe Vikings to 50 in the Greenwave non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Greenwave now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they host North Valleys for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Churchill County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 73-58 non-league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, South Tahoe falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26.
