North Carolina High School Basketball - Sugar Creek Charter overwhelms Garinger
December 18, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28205 The Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Garinger Wildcats to 25 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont Community Charter for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Sugar Creek Charter will confront a Patriots team coming off a 62-29 non-league loss to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Garinger falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-3. East Mecklenburg lost 35-33 in their recent non-league game against Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC)
