December 18, 2024: Asheboro, NC 27205 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) and the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), observed Southwestern Randolph's basketball team edge Jordan-Matthews by a margin of 36-30.
The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Randleman was tipped by Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 41-35, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Jets battle the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record.
