Missouri High School Basketball - Bakersfield can't hold off Liberty
December 18, 2025: Bakersfield, MO 65609 Liberty Eagles (Mountain View, MO) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Bakersfield Lions (Bakersfield, MO), 54-47 in a non-league contest.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Grove (Mountain Grove, MO). The Panthers go into the South Central contest with a 3-5 record.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Neelyville Tigers (Neelyville, MO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 19. Bakersfield will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 85-80 non-league win over Southern Missouri RUSH (Springfield, MO).
