In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Tushka Tigers basketball team scored a close 66-59 win over the Stringtown Tigers.

The Tigers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Caney (Caney, OK). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Caney was nudged by Boswell (Boswell, OK), 93-48, in a non-league match.

The Tigers now own a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colbert for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 6. Stringtown will face a Leopards squad coming off a 57-39 league win over Rock Creek (Bokchito, OK). The Leopards record now stands at 7-3.
